I visited the vien centre for consultation where I was greeted by warm friendly staff that completely put me at ease . Having discussed what treatment I was recommended to have I was booked in for two weeks later. I felt completely at ease and reassured ,the treatment was painless and I felt reassured when told that should I have any problems(I didn't) that I could telephone the vien centre and some one would advice accordingly.On My follow up appointment I felt completely at ease in the knowledge that that I was receiving first class treatment from Dr West and his team.I Have more confidence when going on holiday knowing that i don't have to hide my legs way due to unsightly varicose veins ,I have no hesitation in rating The vein centre in Stoke on Trent and Dr West and his team as five stars ,thank you Dr West and team for giving me back my confidence

I had my follow up appointment yesterday at the clinic in Stoke, and I am over the moon with the outcome of my treatment. I was recommended the clinic by a close friend but I was very apprehensive about the treatment and what was involved but decided to go ahead anyway. At my consultation I was well informed and my nerves were put at ease by the very knowledgeable staff, and relaxed atmosphere. The treatment was very straight forward, exactly how it was described, I had no problems after the treatment except for slight bruising and an ache around the treatment site which came on normally in the evenings for a week or two. My leg looks so much better and I needed no further appointments or treatments so I am very happy it was so straight forward. I have recommended to friends and will be taking my Grandmother there also.

Having plucked up the courage to do something about a varicose vein I choose The Veincentre at Stoke. I was put at ease straight away, nothing was too much trouble. Everything was explained thoroughly to me. The procedure itself was not as bad as I anticipated. The care that I received was excellent and I personally feel that the whole patient experience cannot be improved on.

Underwent EVLA treatment for varicose veins. Returned to the clinic a year later as was very disappointed with the results. It was suggested I had vein embolisation, which I was told would sort my varicose veins. After undergoing this procedure at another great expense, was still not happy. Varicose veins still present and still have burning, itching sensation. Wish I had never started with this treatment as it has all just been a waste of money. Complained to the clinic and was told would have to pay for another consultation of £50 for a weekday appointment or £100 at the weekend. What a complete and utter rip off. Please save your money and avoid these money grabbers, I wish I had.

At only 29 I hated my veins they were awful and got me down I was scared to death about having them removed I had no need to be it was over and done with very quickly the staff are amazing I carnt wait to see the end results so glad I had them done!!

I found the atmosphere of the clinic to be both informal and relaxed. Dr West and his staff have created an air of competence which is tempered by a nice line in self-deprecating humour which served to calm any anxieties that I had about the procedure. Any questions that I had were answered clearly and concisely and I would absolutely recommend to anyone that was interested in vein surgery to put The Vein Clinic at the top of their choices.

I have had a phobia about needles, hospitals etc for years.Eventually the appearance and discomfort in my leg was really affecting me.With some encouragement, and awareness that a friend had used Dr Wests clinic for vein treatment, I picked up the telephone and made an appointment.The following week I had consultation in the morning,back at 3pm for sedative(which I requested) EVLA treatment at 4pm and all over in half an hour. After about six weeks I returned for some scelotherapy treatment(this time without sedative-i did not feel that I needed it ).All the pain and aches I had in my leg have gone and the large ugly vein is disappearing slowly-i was told this can take up to three months. The clinic is nothing like a hospital environment, which used to add to my fears and the staff are extremely professional and friendly.I was able to take someone in with me throughout the process.I still can't believe I have voluntarily had a medical procedure done after years of needle phobia but believe me if I can do it you can. I would like to thank Dr West and his staff for their kindness and understanding . At no time did they make me feel silly about my phobia or make a big deal out of it. I cannot praise the clinic enough-thank you all.
